Dhol Punk is band with a musical group playing bhangra music with electronic music. Dhol Punk was formed in 2008 by Dj Mac when several musicians asked him to do something different.

Dhol are a traditional percussion instrument from the Punjab province in the north of India.  Dhol Punk plays a mixture of dance beats and electronic music, with the traditional bhangra Dhol.

Dhol Punk is all about blending Eastern patterns on Western Instruments with different style. The ultimate groove machine of whirling arms and booming beats, the dynamic electic fusion, unleashing an energetic and engaging performance around a rich tapestry of rock, pop, Desi Punjabi, Bollywood & electronic elements: This is undoubtedly, the flavor of The Dhol Punk.
